Media Design - Course Program

Ageing Modernity. Societies of all the developed countries are ageing. A new existential condition with no precedents in world history is reached.

The course reflect on this social change. The ageing of society is a critical mass that involves the whole sphere of everyday life (the senses perception, the physical mobility, psychology, community organization).

Design Process. Students are invited to join in design teams and reflect on this new condition of normality. The project will start from the analysis of an object that reflect the condition of ageing. The research will then be focused on one aspect that will lead on a media design project that will reflect on the condition of ageing of modern societies.

Exhibition. The course will end with an exhibition where all the prototypes and the installations produced during the course will be presented.

This blog is about the design process that each group is following toward the realization of the final project.
